  1. Market Leadership & Innovation (2025)

    By 2025, eFAWATEERcom had solidified its role as a market leader in Jordan. The platform onboarded more than 650 billers across sectors, including telecom, government, utilities, and education, while processing over 300 million bills. At the same time, the introduction of the AI backend represented a new era of automation, efficiency, and innovation, further reinforcing eFAWATEERcom's vision of driving smarter and more secure online bill payments.

  2. Brand & Infrastructure (2023–2024)

    To reflect its growth and strengthen its market presence, eFAWATEERcom introduced a refreshed brand identity and modern logo in 2023. The following year, a dedicated data center was established, enhancing both the resilience and scalability of the system while preparing it to handle even greater volumes of digital transactions in the years ahead.

  3. Scaling Up (2020–2022)

    As adoption accelerated, eFAWATEERcom for online bill payments achieved significant milestones. By 2020, the platform had surpassed 50 million bill payments processed, reflecting its growing reach and reliability. In 2021, the network expanded to more than 400 billers, and by 2022, the user base crossed 4 million onboarded customers, solidifying its position as the leading online bill payment platform in Jordan.

  4. Recognition & Service Growth (2017–2018)

    Between 2017 and 2018, eFAWATEERcom expanded its services with mobile wallet connectivity, earned the Order of King Abdullah II for Excellence, and gained international recognition when IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde praised it as a regional model of innovation. During this period, it also launched DirectPay and supported Jordan's national e-payment mandate, cementing its role in the country's digital transformation.

  5. Early Digital Expansion (2015–2016)

    Focusing on digital accessibility, eFAWATEERcom introduced its web app in 2015, making it possible for users to pay bills directly using bank cards. By 2016, the mobile app was launched, extending convenience and accessibility to a growing number of end users so they could manage their payments anytime, anywhere.

  6. Foundation & Mandate (2013–2014)

    In 2013, the Central Bank of Jordan awarded MadfoatCom with the mandate to build, operate, and administer the national electronic billing and payment system, eFAWATEERcom. Just a year later, in 2014, the platform was officially launched with 12 billers, three major telecom operators, and full bank participation, marking a transformative step in Jordan's digital payment ecosystem.
